Center for Children and Families (CCFI), a Casa Herbalife partner in Oklahoma, recently held their annual “Family Meal” event, where they served a delicious dinner to the children of the Casa, along with their siblings and caregivers. Herbalife Independent Distributors volunteered their time and participated in several activities with the children.

“We serve families from diverse backgrounds, including foster families, Spanish-speaking households, divorced and single parent families, and multi-generational households,” said Melissa Simpson Klink, CCFI Chief Executive Officer. “We so much appreciated the support from Herbalife volunteers this year, as they provided support with cookie decorating, crafts, welcoming families, and interacting with our Spanish-speaking clients. We love having volunteers from Herbalife who want to show care to our families, especially during the holiday season.”

HNF has partnered with CCFI and their Boys and Girls Club since 2014. This past year, HNF has supported staff time to implement the Healthy Lifestyles curriculum, paid for swimming admission for their summer camp program, helped ensure their playground was safe through a mulch refresh, and assisted in supplying nutritious supplemental snacks to Club members.

“We are so grateful for the partnership with the Herbalife Nutrition Foundation!” said Melissa. “Your support is essential to ensuring members of the Boys & Girls Club of Norman can grow up safe, nurtured and loved.”

Thank you to all our supporters and Casa volunteers who reflect the ethos of the Foundation everywhere they go. Learn more about how you can help improve the lives of children and communities.
